On September 27th, GAC Hino Automobile Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Yuanshang Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yuanshang Logistics") held a grand delivery ceremony for the first batch of hydrogen fuel cell box transport vehicle orders in Guangzhou, marking the formal entry of the 1000 unit strategic cooperation agreement signed by both parties since the beginning of 2024 into the substantive cooperation stage. Under the current national "dual carbon" strategy, commercial vehicle policies and regulations, continuous improvement of infrastructure, and rapid growth of the new energy commercial vehicle market, Guangzhou is pushing the hydrogen energy industry towards scale and commercialization at an unprecedented speed. This new car delivery marks the successful signing of a strategic cooperation agreement for 1000 units between GAC Hino and Yuanshang Logistics since early 2024, and the successful implementation of the first batch of 50 demonstration operation orders for the delivery of new energy vehicles. Both parties rely on their profound expertise and rich resources in commercial vehicle development, manufacturing, and logistics operations to jointly explore new models and paths for the application of hydrogen energy technology, and continue to promote the green transformation and development of the logistics industry.
In his speech, Zhang Zhiyong, General Manager of GAC Hino, stated that with the strategic deployment and empowerment support of the group, GAC Hino has deepened the transformation and development of new energy commercial vehicles, actively carried out innovation and reform of the mixed ownership enterprise system and mechanism, and quickly launched multiple new energy vehicle models including BEV, FCEV technology routes, 4 × 2 box cars, dump trucks, 6 × 4 tractors, etc. The 4 × 2 hydrogen fuel box transport vehicle delivered this time will demonstrate unique advantages in multiple fields such as urban logistics and short distance transportation, relying on clean hydrogen power, reliable three electric technology, lightweight vehicle design, and low consumption and high efficiency operational performance. The close cooperation between GAC Hino and two excellent partners, Yuanshang Logistics and Yuanfeng New Energy, has set a good model for the green transformation of the logistics industry.
Yu Jun, Chairman of Yuanshang Logistics, stated that the delivery of the new car marks a new stage in the strategic cooperation between GAC Hino and Yuanshang Logistics.
